This is the beginning of a new venture for Dr. Annie Hurt. For more than twenty years, I have worked with parent and child activities and programs for families with children ages infancy through high school. I am pleased to be providing information and assistance to Sunshine Mamas throughout Florida. I am going to tell you right from the start that being a mother is the most difficult job I’ve ever had, but it has often been the most rewarding thing that ever happened in my life! Throughout each month I hope to offer tips and suggestions regarding caring for your children along the essential developmental pathways of life: physical, emotional, educational, ethical, and social. Every child and every parent is unique, so enjoy your children and your journey of parenthood. Hopefully some of my suggestions will assist you on this awesome journey!
