Forever Florida; Excitement, Adventure, and Education all in one!

Forever Florida; Excitement, Adventure, and Education all in one!

I had the privilege of meeting Margaret Reynolds Broussard, Author of both Florida Child in the Great Depression, and Florida Child in WWII.  She is also the Co-Founder of Forever Florida.  Within the first five minutes of her presentation I knew this was something I had to share with my fellow Mamas!

Are you looking for a fun filled family adventure right here in our own backyard?  How about a Guided Coach Eco Safari, or an overnight Horseback Safari where you can camp out under the stars? For those thrill seeking adventurists; the Zipline Safari may be a little more appropriate!  Whichever you prefer, Forever Florida has the outdoor excursion your family has been longing for!

Forever Florida was started by Dr. Broussard and his wife Margaret after the passing of their son Allen at the early age of 29.  Allen was an amazing biologist and ecologist.  It was his lifelong dream to save Florida’s wilderness.  It is through Allen’s dream that Forever Florida thrives! Please see The Allen Broussard Conservancy for his amazing story!

Forever Florida is 4700 acres of Eco-ranch and wildlife conservation area.  It is home to nine different unique ecosystems and to countless numbers of native plants and Florida animals such as Alligators, Eagles, Cedar Waxings, Florida Panthers, Green Heron, White Ibis…the list just goes on and on!

In addition to the breath taking beauty and the awesome Eco Safaris, Forever Florida offers an educational twist on Florida fun!  Sure we all love Disney World and all of the other theme parks throughout our great state but this is truly a one of a kind opportunity.

Not only do you get to go on an outdoor adventure with your children but Forever Florida provides parents with a platform to convey the importance of preserving our natural Florida resources and wildlife.  By the way, a large portion of all proceeds are used towards the purchase of additional lands to conserve.

So round up your Cowboy and Cowpokes and head on over to the Crescent J Ranch to check out their Cracker cattle (unique to FL) and ride some horses; or pick an Eco Safari package to accommodate the crew.  Whatever you choose to do while enjoying your time at Forever Florida, I’m sure it will be a lifelong memory that your family will cherish for many years to come!

For additional information please visit ForeverFlorida.com, Forever Florida is centrally located at 4755 N Kenansville Rd., ST. Cloud, FL 34773 (7.5 miles south of 192 on SR 441) 407.957.9794 or 866.85.4EVER

The mission of the Allen Broussard Conservancy is to preserve and protect fragile ecosystems of Florida’s native wilderness, provide a permanent habitat for wildlife, maintain the historical ranching operation and educate the public about the importance of conservation and the preservation of our unique heritage.
