Feed a Family in the Gulf Coast With a SINGLE Click

Feed a Family in the Gulf Coast With a SINGLE Click

Feed a family in the Gulf Coast just by liking Boar’s Head on Facebook!  Here’s our chance to give back with a single click.  These local families need our help, Mamas!

Boar’s Head is raising money to help feed families in the Gulf Coast.  As you may know, hunger is a serious problem for many families along the Gulf Coast as a result of the oil spill disaster. Given a local economy dependent upon fishing and seafood, travel and recreation and boating and shipping, many families have seen their livelihoods and quality of life directly affected by the lingering effects of the oil spill. In fact, Florida now nears the top of the national list of foreclosures and food insecurity, with the highest increases seen among families with children.

As a Florida-based and family-owned company, Boar’s Head felt compelled to help and have already donated $25,000 to the Florida Association of Food Banks (FAFB), but they really want to get the public involved in this effort and raise even more money to help these families on the Gulf Coast.

Their goal is to reach $50,000 total, which equals 150,000 meals!

Getting involved is really easy – all you have to do is “like” the Boar’s Head Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/BoarsHead and Boar’s Head will donate $1 to FAFB to help families on the Gulf Coast for every new “like.” If you click on the “Brings Hope” tab you can see all the details!
